LEGO Spike Essential Courses:

STEMPlay utilizes LEGO Spike Essential Robotics kits, along with touchscreen tablet devices to provide an engaging and fun experience for children. Participants will be provided materials to build a working robot, and upon completion will use LEGO's block coding program to bring their robot to life!

Best suited for ages 6-9.

LEGO Spike Prime Courses:

With the use of LEGO Prime kits, participants will level up their engineering and coding skills. While using word based scratch coding, they will use more advanced components like touch and line/color sensors to interact with the models they build.

Minecraft Club:

Minecraft Education Edition is an educational tool designed to engage participants in a creative and interactive way. This version of the popular game offers unique features that make learning enjoyable and accessible. Collaboration, problem solving, and communication are keyt ingredients in this course.

Video Game Design Courses:

STEMPlay uses Microsoft MakeCode to help guide participants through the stages of building their own video game. Tutorials help participants go at their own pace, while our trained leaders help problem solve and will offer ideas to enhance and improve their design. Participants will be able to access these games after the class if they wish to continue working on their design.

Learn How to Code with Scratch Courses:

Participants will utilize Scratch coding to learn the foundational skills of coding. By using the variety of options available, participants will see how to bring their ideas to life through movement, sound, and more!
