STEMPlay Summer

Join us for a week of hands-on creativity and fun at Summer STEMPlay! Participants will explore a variety of engaging STEM activities, including LEGO robotics, online coding programs to create video games, and exciting science investigations. We’ll also tackle engineering challenges and dive into art projects, with time each day for outdoor games. Each week brings a new and unique theme, so there's always something fresh to discover!

Camps 2026

Build It. Break It. Fix It! is an interactive STEM summer camp where kids become engineers, inventors, and problem-solvers by building creations, breaking them down, and figuring out how they work. Campers will explore the inner workings of everyday technology, experiment with materials, and learn how innovation happens.

Through guided challenges and open-ended exploration, campers will:

  • Take apart real objects (like old electronics and machines) to discover what’s inside

  • Test, break, redesign, and improve their creations

  • Learn how engineers and scientists troubleshoot problems

  • Practice teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking

STEAM Studio:   Art in Action is a hands-on summer camp where kids explore science, technology, engineering, and math through art, design, and creative making. In this camp, art is a core tool for thinking, planning, and problem-solving. Campers will engage in a variety of open-ended, hands-on projects that blend engineering and artistic expression. Campers are encouraged to sketch ideas, try different approaches, and revise their work.

Throughout the week, campers will:

  • Use art and design to plan and communicate STEM ideas

  • Build and test projects using a variety of materials

  • Explore real-world connections between creativity and engineering

  • Collaborate with peers to solve design challenges

Game Quest is a high-energy STEM summer camp where kids become game designers, coders, and engineers as they take on creative challenges inspired by the world of games. Campers will design their own video games, build interactive worlds, and complete LEGO robotics missions — all while learning how real games are created behind the scenes. Game Quest focuses on creativity, strategy, and critical thinking, not just playing games.

Through hands-on projects and team challenges, campers will:

  • Design and build their own video games using age-appropriate coding tools

  • Create characters, levels, and game rules

  • Program LEGO robots to complete quests and challenges

  • Use logic, sequencing, and problem-solving to debug and improve designs
